The original Köln Concert took place at the Cologne Opera House at 11.30pm on Friday 24 January 1975, and the live recording went on to become the best selling solo piano album of all time.

To mark the 50th anniversary of this landmark event, Dorian Ford performed Köln Concert 50 in Cologne on 24 January 2025 – exactly fifty years to the day – playing to a sell-out audience.

And now it will be performed again (but differently) in London marking 51 years of this singular work.
